Gemma has been a qualified sports massage therapist since 2016. She has her honors in High Performance Sport and is currently completing her Masters Degree in Sport Science.
She has worked with various types of athletes from beginners to professionals assisting with performance enhancement, recovery and injury prevention.
Gemma has worked multiple stage race events including Cape Epic, Tankwa Trek, Wines to Whales, Cape Pioneer and many others.
She has her own private practice, does home visits and private tours.
Viv qualified as a physiotherapist in 1989. Over the course of her career, she has studied exercise and pain physiology, pilates, neuroscience and manual therapy.
She sees herself as a movement analyst; assessing problematic movement to establish cause of pain and/or impairment of performance. She is intrigued with how subtle shifts in body posture or joint position can improve pain and balance.
Her ultimate goal is to empower patients with knowledge and tools to regain movement required to fully engage in life.
