I coach the ABC, Rookie and Intermediate 1 groups.
When I first started mountain biking in 2013, I was heavily overweight and unbalanced on the bike. Through joining Nikki's Trail Angel group sessions I managed to shed a lot of weight. Not only that, exercising and finding a love for mountain biking helped me to control the frequency and severity of regular migraines.
As a youngster I used to BMX and finding this love again has really added to balancing my life in many ways. Through coaching and meeting ladies weekly, helping them overcome their fears and achieve on the bike, ticks many boxes for me and I find it very fulfilling. Not only are we coaches, that teach skills on the bike, but we also find ourselves becoming confidants and helping ladies, through difficult emotional stages in their lives.
We love what we do and I couldn't imagine not doing this as my daily job.
